Getting Here
Day-trippers coming by train can easily reach Hudson's retail offerings, restaurants and a number of B&Bs without the need for a car. Train travelers wishing to explore beyond Hudson itself can arrange for a rental car by calling Enterprise (518-828-5492) Rent-a-Car.

Enterprise will either meet you at the train with your car, or leave keys for your car and your contract with the station manager. If arranged in advance, cars can simply be left at the Amtrak Station by leaving keys with the station manager upon your departure.


Local offerings
Cultural offerings abound throughout the area. Hudson is home to Stageworks, Time and Space Limited, the Hudson opera House.

Local museums include the NY Firefighters Museum, and the Olana State Historic Site, former home of Hudson River School Artist
Fredrick Church.
